Battleship New Jersey at Beckett Street Terminal, Camden, New Jersey, 9 August 2000.
On August 9 and 10, 2000, the Home Port Alliance opened the Battleship New
Jersey to the public before she is refurbished.

- 1 Looking back on the forward 16 inch guns,
taken from the bow.

that the radar is missing from the top.
- 9 You can clearly see that the
non-skid surface of the helicopter deck has been stripped off.
- 10 A damaged section of the teak deck, port side
near Turret #3. This is where the teak ends. It looks like most, if not all,
of the teak will need to be replaced.
- 11 Some of the superstructure,
including the forward tower. Note that the top of the mast has been taken
down to clear one of the Delaware River bridges. The yellow flag below the
Stars and Stripes is the New Jersey state flag.

aft. Note the empty racks for the Harpoon launchers.

Once again, a funnel of the SS United States is visible.
